Instructions for Use – The Resonator  (updated 4th May 2026)

Important Safety Information

  • DO NOT USE if you are pregnant or suspect you might be.
  • DO NOT USE if you have a heart pacemaker or any other electrical implants in your body.
  • Remove all metal that touches your skin, except for difficult-to-remove rings.

How to Use the Resonator

The Resonator is simple to use. It has two copper electrodes. Hold one in each hand while the device runs.

Most people use it because they want to feel:

  • calmer
  • lighter
  • clearer
  • more themselves
  • less tense inside

The Resonator is gentle, comfortable, and easy to use.

Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  1. If you have not done so, insert the 9-volt battery into the battery compartment.
  2. Sit comfortably.
  3. Hold one copper electrode in each hand. Do not touch hands. Do not let the electrodes touch each other when it is switched on. The battery will go flat quickly.
  4. Switch the device on. The blue light will come on. Replace the battery when the blue light dims or does not come on.
  5. Relax and let your body respond.
  6. Use for 5–10 minutes a day.
  7. Stop when you feel the shift.

You do not need to concentrate or “try” to relax. Just hold the electrodes and allow your system to settle.

Using the Resonator

Most people use the Resonator for 5–10 minutes once a day. This simple rhythm is usually enough to create a noticeable sense of settling and ease, and it keeps the experience intentional rather than passive.

Longer or Repeated Use

Some people choose to explore longer or repeated sessions. For example:

  • 10 minutes on, 20 minutes off, repeated 18 times in one day
  • Accidentally falling asleep while holding the Resonator for around one hour

After sessions like these, some users notice a feeling of lightness in the legs or body. This is not a medical effect. It is simply a perceptual shift that can occur when the body has been in a softened, low‑effort state for an extended period.

These experiences are individual and vary from person to person.

Finding What Suits You

We are all different, and people respond in their own way. You are welcome to experiment and find what suits you, while keeping your use comfortable, natural, and intentional.

The everyday recommendation remains 5–10 minutes, with the option to explore longer or repeated use if you wish.

What You May Feel

As the internal pressure drops, people often notice:

  • deeper breathing
  • warmth
  • heaviness
  • calmness
  • a sense of release
  • clearer thinking
  • feeling lighter or more settled

Some people experience a gentle emotional release, such as sighing or tears. This is normal. It means the body is letting go of stored tension.

Daily Routine

Most people benefit from a session of:

  • 5–10 minutes a day, or
  • 3–5 minutes twice a day if stressed

If you feel stable and well:

  • 3–5 sessions a week is usually enough

Short, regular use works better than long sessions.

Why It Helps

Life builds up inside the body. Stress, tension, emotions, and pressure all collect over time. This creates a compressed internal environment, a state where the body feels tight, overloaded, and under strain.

When you hold the two copper electrodes, your body naturally begins to:

  • relax
  • breathe more deeply
  • soften tension
  • calm down
  • release internal pressure

As this pressure drops, people often feel better in many areas of their wellbeing.

Everyone is different, but the common theme is the same: people feel better when their internal environment becomes calmer and more open.

In Simple Terms

The Resonator helps your body relax, breathe, and settle. When your internal environment is calm and open, you feel better in yourself.

Temporary Skin Changes

A small number of people notice temporary bumps, redness, or mild itching after the first few uses of the Resonator™. This is not an allergic reaction, and it is not harmful.

It happens because the nervous system relaxes and circulation increases. When the body stops bracing, blood vessels open and the immune system becomes more active. This can cause small temporary changes in the skin, especially in people who have been tense for a long time.

These effects usually appear in the first one or two uses and then stop happening. They are simply signs that the body is adjusting.

If the skin feels irritated, a small amount of soothing or antiseptic cream can help calm the area. The reaction settles quickly and does not return.

TEST LED

If you have a test LED, test the Resonator by switching it on with the copper electrodes connected. Make sure the copper electrodes are clean. (Use a kitchen scourer to clean them) Take one lead of the LED and touch one of the copper electrodes with the bare end, and touch the other electrode with the other wire of the LED.

If it does not light, change the wires of the LED over  ( as the LED only works one way ). If the LED does not light, then remove the copper electrodes from the Resonator and touch the LED wires to the sockets of the Resonator.  If that does not light, contact me for a replacement.

I cannot supply the LED as Trading Standards have told me “the outer plastic coating of the two wires does not conform to British Standards”. It was the only problem they found with the Resonator, which was tested for product safety and use. The LEDs are available at Amazon
